About Us

Shuyun Guo, Professor at Dalian Minzu University and director of Research Insitute of History and Culture of the Ethnic Minorities in Northeast China. She has obtained her MA from Northeast Normal University and qualified PhD in Anthropology at Wuhan University. Her research interests are the Shaman Culture of Ethnic group of northern China and Religious Anthropology. She published 85 papers in domestic and foreign academic journals, including Ethno-national Studies, Religious Studies, National Arts, Studies in World Religious, etc. She has also published 20 monographs and led several research projects.
