Yin Se is professor in Anthropology at Beijing Normal University. His research interests focus on the Cultural Anthropology and Intangible Cultural Heritage. His publications include Shamanism in Northeast Asia(1998), Research on Chinese Shaman Culture(2011) and numerous articles in Social Sciences in China, Journal of Graduate School of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Social Science Front, Studies in World Religions, etc. His recent research project is Interdisciplinary Investigation and Research on Mongolian Intangible Cultural Heritage in Inner Mongolia funded by Social Science Foundation of China(12&ZD131). He was shortlisted for "Yangtze River Scholar" by the Ministry of Education, and enjoys special government allowances from the State Council.
