Meng Songlin, Oroqen and professor, graduated from Harbin Medical University, has been engaged in medical work for 10 years, chairman of the Hulunbuir Research Association on the Secret History of Mongolia. He has been engaged in the study of Mongolian history for many years and is a famous contemporary expert on the origin of Mongols. The main research achievements include Into Mongolia, Genghis Khan and Mongolian Plateau, etc. He is now the president and professor of the National History and Culture Research Institute of Hulunbuir University, the executive deputy director of the Mongols Ethnic Origin Research Center of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, and the chief expert of the major project of the National Social Science Fund on Mongols Ethnic Origin Research.
