Professor Qu Feng attended Arctic Circle Assembly 2023, which was held in Harpa Concert Hall and Conference Centre, Reykjavík, Iceland and lasted from October 19-22. More than 600 speakers in over 200 Sessions participated in the 2023 Arctic Circle Assembly.

Qu Feng hosted the session "China and the Arcitc: Comparative Indigenous Studies" and gave a lecture entitled "Study of the Research Framework of Chinese Subarctic Peoples". 

Gao Feng, special representative for Arctic Affairs of the Foreign Ministry of China, participated in several discussions on China- and Asia-related topics.

Founded in 2013 by Grimsson, the Arctic Circle holds its assembly in Iceland every October. The Arctic Circle Assembly is the largest annual international gathering on the Arctic, attended by more than 2000 participants from over 60 countries. The Assembly is held every October in Harpa Concert Hall and Conference Center, Reykjavík, Iceland.
