The First Northeast Asia Social and Cultural Forum Was held in Harbin

On December 21-22, 2019, the First Northeast Asia Social and Cultural Forum was held in Harbin and organized by Heilongjiang University, to commemorate the 80th anniversary of Shirokogoroff’s passing away.
More than 50 scholars attended the forum.
Professor Qu Feng and Dr. Qi Shande were invited to be present at the conference. Qu made keynote speech titled as "From Shirokogoroff to Eliade and Lewis: A Review of the Psychological Trend in Shamanism Theory." Dr. Qi gave a talk tiled as "The Appearance of Social Language and Culture - The Chukchi People's Image in modern Russian Folk Jokes." Professor Qu Feng also was invited to make a concluding speech of the Forum.
