From October 21 to 24, 2020, Prof. Dr. Dr. Michael Knüppel participated in the yearly online conference “Mueller Readings” dedicated to the memory of the co-founding-father of Siberian archaeology and Russian historiography Gerhard Friedrich Müller (1705-1783) took place in St. Petersburg.

The theme of the conference is the “Müller Readings”– 2020: Traditions and Continuity in Storing and Studying Documentary Heritage. Prof. Dr. Dr. Michael Knüppel presented a report entitled “Some remarks on early records of rock paintings from Verkhotur’e (Vergaturia)”.
